The Studio combines elegance with practicality, offering a building that serves a wide range of purposes. While many customers choose to transform it into a home office—a dedicated space for focused work—it can also function as a playroom, gym, summer house, man cave, craft room, cinema room, or virtually anything else you envision.

Designed for year-round use, the Studio is fully insulated and available in five different floor plans. You can opt for either a self-build flat pack kit or a self-build exterior kit, depending on your preference. Not a DIY enthusiast? No worries—our Installation Service is available, so you can leave the building to us. We also provide detailed instruction guides to help you assemble your kit, and we're always happy to assist with any questions you might have.

Choosing the Right Base

The ground conditions at your building site will determine the most suitable foundation. The size and weight of your building will also play a role in your decision between adjustable footpads, ground screws, or a full concrete pad.

Custom Designs and Options

We offer a range of adaptable building designs, and if you have unique requirements, our team is happy to create a bespoke solution just for you. Our design team is ready to explore different options to help you achieve the perfect building.

The Studio Kit Options

The Studio is available in two kit versions: one that provides the framework for you to add your own windows and doors, and another that includes pre-supplied windows and doors. Each kit comes with everything you need for assembly, including SIP panels, splines, C24 timber, roofing material, fixings, flooring, exterior cladding, and optional windows and doors. We aim to deliver your kit within 2-6 weeks, while Shell Buildings typically take around 12 weeks unless customized features extend the timeframe. Delivery confirmation will be provided once your order is placed.

Delivery Details

Your building will arrive flat-packed, securely wrapped on a pallet for protection. Depending on the size of your building, we’ll use the appropriate haulier, who will do their best to deliver to your specified location using equipment such as portable forklifts or pallet trucks.

If you have any specific delivery requirements, such as access restrictions, please inform us when placing your order. We will communicate these needs to the haulier to ensure a smooth delivery process.

Construction and Maintenance

To ensure your building’s longevity, we highly recommend completing construction to a watertight level as soon as possible, or temporarily covering the building with a waterproof membrane. While the materials can handle brief exposure to the elements, leaving them uncovered for extended periods is not recommended.

Our Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs) are built using advanced construction technology to provide excellent insulation and durability. They keep warmth in and cold out without the need for extra insulation, and when properly maintained, SIP structures have a lifespan of 40-50 years.
